Steve - there are plenty of great trail cameras on the market today that won't break the bank. Your final decision is going to come down to how much money you want to spend and what features you're looking for as they each offer something a little different. Right now the best bang for your buck seems to be the Moultrie I-40. It has been getting rave reviews and at just over $200 you can't beat the price for the quality of photos that we've been seeing out of them. If you're looking for something a little cheaper the Stealth I450 at $119 or the Moultrie 4.0 MP GameSpy at $99 may be up your alley. Both cameras have traditional strobe (visible) flashes and have proven to be pretty reliable in the field. Picture quality and trigger responsiveness may not be the greatest, but you get what you pay for with these cameras.
