Well guys, it's about time to start moving the cameras off the bean fields and into the woods. The acorns are dropping and from what I've seen so far the deer are really starting to hit them pretty hard. Sightings have really dropped off the past few weeks as they've moved from the open fields in the evenings to the oaks in search of acorns, and into the corn since it's rippening up as well. I had 118 photos in two weeks in a small woodlot that I'm usually lucky to get two dozen photos in. Within the next few weeks we should start seeing some bucks shed their velvet as well. Hunting season is coming quick!!!!
